Giant Penguins! (Sadly Extinct)

robinwest sent me the Chicago Tribune article on how giant penguins may once have roamed in Peru, and ladykoori sent me the illustrated Discovery Channel version (pic copied above). It's probably a good thing they're extinct or my son would want to move to Peru to get one as a pet!

Thanks for noticing that privacy thing. I thought that I had taken care of that, but one slip of the mouse and I had pegged the "no one under 18" slot. Now, it's cool. I went back in and changed it. You're right. Not much good if people don't see the beauty and the lives that are at risk.
